Ross McKinnonManaging Director
Ross had been involved in commercial property since 1983 when he started as a shopping centre leasing agent with Jones Lang Wootton. Ross was with Jones Lang Wootton for 17 years and spent his last 5 years as Managing Director. During that time he was involved in all facets of commercial property from leasing, selling, managing, design, and project management. Ross has been involved in some of the largest property projects in Queensland including the development of Pacific Fair shopping centre on the Gold Coast, the sale of Bond University along with numerous shopping centre and office buildings in Brisbane and Queensland. In 1998 Ross and the other partners of Jones Lang Wootton sold their equity to LaSalle and Partners. Shortly after the sale concluded Ross left Jones Lang LaSalle to start his own developments. Since then Ross has developed a number of successful projects with a range of partners.
Grant WhittakerProject Partner
Grant has worked in the Australian Commercial Property industry all his career. He commenced at JLL in the CBD leasing department in 1982 and transferred to the Industrial Department in 1987. In 1990 Grant joined Knight Frank to head up the Commercial and Industrial department and in 1999 took on the role as Managing Director of Queensland and joined the Knight Frank Australian board. Grant set up his only property consulting business in 2014 after leaving Knight Frank and has worked with many of the major Institutions, Property Trusts, High Net Worth Individuals and Developers throughout his career. Grant has joined State Development Corporation to add his 38 years’ experience and assist with its growth in the key South-East Queensland property markets.
Mark ClaytonProject Partner
Mark is a qualified Town Planner who has worked for the Brisbane City Council and PRD as their research Director. Mark is responsible for checking all matters through due diligence, along with all planning matters, coordination of all consultants during the early design phase and approval phase. Mark has an eye for detail and a conservative nature, which is ideal for the checking of due diligence. Mark is also involved in the construction phase and post-completion audits.
Hugo RichardsProject Partner & Project Manager
Hugo has been involved in the property industry for 30 years. He has obtained a diverse range of experience in the UK and Australia. He has been responsible for the delivery of a number of development projects including large mixed-use development, “built form” projects for major tenants and owners as well as a number of commercial and residential land subdivision’s. He has experience in all facets of property from industrial, commercial, residential and retail projects. Hugo is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds a QBCC Project Managers license.
Michael McKinnonProject Partner & Licensed Builder
Michael finished his building apprenticeship with Hutchinson Builders where he was awarded apprentice of the year for the Tweed Heads office. At Hutchinson Builders he was one of the youngest structural foremen. After receiving his license he joined State Development to find and deliver commercial projects in South East Queensland.
Tanya McKinnonInterior Designer, Shopping Centre Marketing Manager
Tanya was formerly a Shopping Centre Marketing Manager with Jones Lang La Salle. In more recent times she has undertaken a number of interior design courses and has worked on a number of the company’s residential and office projects, including designing office foyers, office fit-outs and key elements of some of the company’s main projects.
Recently started with the company as a trainee. Jake has been involved in Property Management, Project Management and Company Administration. Recently he has been involved in his first development undertaking a development managers position.
